Eric B. Scott, 39, residing in Raleigh, NC and formerly of Sandusky, unexpectedly passed away Thursday, August 22, 2019 at his home.
Eric was born on September 11, 1979 in Sandusky, OH to Daniel A. and Renata (Smith) Scott.
Eric graduated from Sandusky High School in 1998. While living in Sandusky, Eric had been employed as a carpenter at Schaefer Construction and continued his carpenter work when he moved to Raleigh. He enjoyed playing golf and fishing.
Eric is survived by his mother, Renata of Sandusky; sister, Samantha (Scott) Pohorence of Sandusky; brother, Matthew Scott of Dayton; niece and nephew, Macy and Isaac Pohorence; grandmothers, Marianne Scott of Huron and Rita Whitman of Sandusky.
Eric is preceded in death by his father, Daniel in 2014 and grandfathers, Bender Scott and James F. Smith.
Friends may call on Saturday, August 31, 2019 from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm at Groff Funeral Homes & Crematory, 1607 E Perkins Ave, Sandusky. Private family burial will be held in Oakland Cemetery, Sandusky.
