Minnie Louise (Bobbie) Jones Mutaali, 64, residing in Sandusky, passed away unexpectedly Monday, August 26, 2019 at her residence.
Minnie was born on October 17, 1954 in Sandusky, OH to Mary Louise Jones Hall and the late Willie James Jones.
Minnie received her Associates degree from the University of Toledo. She worked as a health care aid assisting people for many years. Minnie loved her family and cooking delicious meals for them. She will be remembered as a jokester, and for her love of dancing, roller skating, watching black and white movies, attending church, and her many hairstyles.
Minnie is survived by her children, Tyra D. (Therome) James of Kennesaw, GA and Tony (Barbie) Jones of Brooklyn, NY; grandchildren, Logan James, Sydney R., Samara N., Brooklyn C. and Jaylen A. Jones, and Jamaal and Corday Ramsey; mother, Mary Louise Hall Jones of Sandusky, OH; sisters, Beverly (Robert) Jackson of Sandusky, OH and Cheryl Jones (Micah) Daniels of Port Clinton, OH; brothers, Willie James Jones Jr. of Charlotte, NC, Arthur Jones, Pastor Jerome (Juanita) Hall of Concord, NH, Apostle C. L. (Denese) Hall of Norwalk, OH, David Hall of Sandusky, OH, Phil Parker Sr. of Sandusky, OH, Leslie Cunningham of Sandusky and Darold (Kimberly) Parker of Castalia, OH; step-sisters, Luana Norman of Port Clinton, OH, Judy Daniels of Atlanta, GA, and Sarah Daniels of Atlanta, GA; numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives; and special friends, Sandra Forney, Rochelle Lofton, Denise Gales, Debbie Newell, Therese Walker and Tony Jones.
In addition to her father, Minnie is preceded in death by her husband, Moulay Mutaali; son, Craig V. Ramsey Jr.; grandmother, Gladys Louise Rogers; and aunt, Retha Holland.
Memorial services will be held on Wednesday, September 4, 2019 at 12:00 pm at Ebenezer Baptist Church, 1215 Pierce St. Sandusky, OH 44870 with her brother, Apostle C. L. Hall presiding. Groff Funeral Homes & Crematory is assisting the family with arrangements.
