Shanna A. Norcross, 38, of New London, passed away on Sunday, September 8, 2019 in Twilight Gardens Healthcare, Norwalk, after a brief illness.
She was born in Sandusky on December 30, 1980 to the late Donald Davis and the late Pamela Norcross.
A 1999 graduate of Sandusky High School, she worked several jobs in the area, most recently as a cahier for Circle K, and most notably for many years at the former Carmike Cinemas in Sandusky.
She loved books and movies, was a big animal lover (having been a member of ASPCA at one point), and gave all her devotion to her daughter, Aria.
Shanna is survived by her daughter, Aria Lykins; brother, Devin (Ashley O'Loughlin) Ritchey; sisters, Jasmine Brennan, Angela Davis, and Jody Draper; grandmother, Beatrice Norcross; and several aunts, uncles, cousins, relatives, and friends.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her grandfather, George Norcross, Sr.
Friends and family may gather from 5 p.m. on Friday, September 13 until a celebration of Shanna's life at 6 p.m. in Toft Funeral Home & Crematory, 2001 Columbus Ave., Sandusky. Rev. Phil Gardner will officiate.
