Gwendolyn Elaine (Raby) Hufnagle, 83, residing in Sandusky, passed away Monday afternoon, September 16, 2019 at Stein Hospice Care Center following a lengthy illness.
Gwen was born August 21, 1936 in Kendrick, ID to the late Oscar M. and Edith (Blackburn) Raby.
Gwen graduated from Clarkston High School in WA. Gwen was a member of Sts. Peter & Paul Catholic Church and volunteered at Cooke House.
Gwen is survived by her husband, John Hufnagle. She is also survived by her daughters, Joan (Gene) Kelly of Las Vegas, NV, Lorilee (Mark) Laber of Dublin, OH, Denise (Rolf) Mattar of Ormond Beach, FL and Christine (Rick) Ferko of Columbus, OH; sons, John (Catherine) Hufnagle of Marysville, OH and Duane (Ruth) Hufnagle of Huron; 11 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; sister, Myra Luoma of Clarkston, WA and numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives.
In addition to her parents, Gwen is preceded in death by her daughter, Kathleen; sister, Phyllis and brother, Gary.
Friends may call on Wednesday, September 18, 2019 from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm at Groff Funeral Homes & Crematory, 1607 E. Perkins Ave., Sandusky. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, September 19, 2019 at Sts. Peter & Paul Catholic Church, 510 Columbus Ave., Sandusky. Burial will follow in Meadow Green Memorial Park, Huron.
