Eloise Ethel (Weyer) Mitchell, 94, residing in Milan, passed away Thursday, September 19, 2019 at The Willows at Bellevue.
Eloise was born on August 27, 1925 in Castalia, OH to the late Andrew and Emma Weyer.
Eloise graduated from Castalia High School. She was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church. She was an avid gardener, skilled crafter and quilter, enjoyed golfing, bowling and traveling. Her greatest joy was taking care of her family.
Eloise is survived by her daughters, Nancy Chalmers of MT and Gail (Louis) Lannum of Bay Village; son, Ed (Sherry) Mitchell of Monroeville; daughter-in-law, Kathy (the late David Mitchell) Mitchell of Vermilion; grandchildren, Matthew and Jennifer; great-grandson, Mitchell and numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
In addition to her parents, Eloise is preceded in death by her husband, Clinton Mitchell in 2004; son, David Mitchell; two sisters and two brothers.
Private family services will be held at a later date. Groff Funeral Homes & Crematory is assisting the family with arrangements.
