Shawn Elliott, 40, residing in Sandusky, passed away unexpectedly Wednesday morning, October 2, 2019 at his residence.
Shawn was born on May 22, 1979 in Sandusky, OH to Michael and Tammy (Belak) Elliott.
Shawn graduated from Sandusky High School in 1997 and had attended St. Mary's Central Catholic for his first 11 years of school. He was the bar manager at Landmark Kitchen & Bar. Shawn enjoyed going to different MLB parks and attending sporting events with his daughter, Kali. Shawn was a fan of any Michigan sports team and a die hard Wolverines fan. He enjoyed being a volunteer coach for Kali's sports teams. Shawn was a devoted family man and could make friends with anyone.
Shawn is survived by his wife, Heather (Stiner) Elliott, whom he married on April 27, 2007. He is also survived by his daughter, Kali; parents, Michael and Tammy both of Sandusky; sister, Corinn (Don Chapman) Coetzee of Bellevue; brother, Patrick (Kristen) Elliott of Wake Forest, NC; paternal grandmother, Eileen Elliott of Sandusky; nephews, Ian, Degan, Camden and Brady; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Tim and Barb Stiner of Litchfield, OH; sisters-in-law, Jen (Nova) Stiner of Elyria and several aunts, uncles and other relatives.
Shawn is preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, James Elliott and maternal grandparents, George and Virginia Belak.
Friends may call on Monday, October 7, 2019 from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm at Groff Funeral Homes & Crematory, 1607 E Perkins Ave, Sandusky.
