Gale A. (Goehring) Grady, 76, residing in Milan, passed away Sunday afternoon, October 6, 2019 at Stein Hospice Care Center after a brief illness.
Gale was born on August 31, 1943 in Newark, NJ to the late William and Rachel (Romaine) Goehring.
Gale owned and operated the Our Beginnings Cards & Gift's in the Milan Square for several years. She enjoyed sewing, knitting, watching the Hallmark Channel and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.
Gale is survived by her husband, James Grady Sr., whom she married on November 5, 1961. She is also survived by her daughter, Karen Mayfield of Milan; son, James (Michelle) Grady Jr. of FL; grandchildren, Amy (Robert) Cummings, Jason (Chelsea) Mayfield, Mitchell Grady and Alex Grady; great-grandchildren, Audrey, Lynk and Lynox; brother, William (Patricia) Goehring of NJ and numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
In addition to her parents, Gale is preceded in death by son-in-law, Merrill Mayfield and sisters, Joan Mikos and Carole Bouquet.
Private family services will be held at Milan Cemetery. Groff Funeral Homes & Crematory Milan Chapel is assisting the family with arrangements.
