Paul E. Bledsoe, 73, residing in Sandusky, passed away Saturday morning, October 5, 2019 at Firelands Regional Medical Center after a lengthy illness.
Paul was born on March 26, 1946 in Duffield, VA to the late John Q. and Fay (Barnette) Bledsoe.
Paul retired from G&C Foundry in Sandusky after 45 years of service. He was a member of the Sandusky Eagles Post 444. He enjoyed classic cars, especially his 1949 Ford and 1959 Plymouth Fury, he enjoyed classic car shows, working on his cars, dancing, playing pool and spending time with his family and friends.
Paul is survived by his wife, Carol (Scherer) Bledsoe, whom he married on April 30, 1966. He is also survived by his two sons, Don Bledsoe of Sandusky and Dale (Kerry) Bledsoe of Castalia; grandchildren, Samantha, Ashley, Madison, Jessica and Rylee; great-grandchildren, Ava, Dylan and Scarlett; his twin sister, Pauline (Russell) Simpson of Port Clinton; brothers, Gary (Martha) Bledsoe of Catawba Island and Lonnie (Thelma) Bledsoe of Port Clinton and numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
Private family services will be held and conducted at a later date. Groff Funeral Homes & Crematory is assisting the family with arrangements.
