Jeffrey Kenneth Miller
Nobody really knew his entire story. Nobody really knew his path, or his pain. Nobody really knew how he lived and, tragically, nobody really knew how he died. After 34 years in this life, Jeffrey Kenneth Miller laid down...to be lifted up by the very Angels that many of us prayed would carry him through one more day; and they laid him to rest in the arms of our Lord, the true Savior.
Jeff was many things; a son, a brother, a friend. He was a project manager in construction, and he was an avid Notre Dame fan. He was simple. He was complicated. He was intense and often misunderstood.
At his best, he was funny, magnetic, and could be deeply sincere. He was smart and quick to think; ahead of the curve...and typically leaning into it. He was a giant pain sometimes and had a will so strong he tried to fight an enemy on his own that he could not see. He fought an enemy we will never really know and, in the end, lost it all in the attempt to calm the storms that raged around him.
Our world is being ravaged by this epidemic, but Jeff will not be defined by his illness or his choices.
He will be remembered and loved forever by those who knew him best; his mother, Laura (Dan) Smith, sisters Andrea (Mark) Hayse and Alicia (Ryan) Snyder; nephews Tucker and Kellen; niece Dakota; grandmother Phyllis Miller; and other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his dad Kenneth Miller and grandpa Aloysius (Al) Miller.
Family and friends may call on Friday, October 25th, from 6pm - 8pm in Toft Funeral Home & Crematory, 2001 Columbus Ave, Sandusky.
