Barbara A. Stefani, 53, Colfax, California, died on Tuesday, November 22, 2011 in Stein Hospice Care Center, Sandusky.
Barbara was born on September 3, 1958 in Fostoria, Ohio. Barbara graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture and Applied Economics from the University of Nevada – Reno.
She was active in St. Theresa Catholic Church, Auburn, CA. Barbara also enjoyed being in the country, and it was this love that inspired her family’s move from Southern to Northern California. But most of all, she enjoyed spending time with her family and grandkids.
Barbara is survived by her husband of 35 years, Steven Stefani, Colfax, CA, whom she married on September 11, 1976; her mother, Carol Boytim Zoll, Sandusky; sons, Jonathan (Liza) Stefani, Lincoln, CA and Jason Daniel Stefani, Colfax, CA; grandsons, Ashtan and Joseph; sister, Brenda Wierenga, CA; brother, Ricky Rausch, CA; aunt, Ann Glovacky, Marblehead, OH; and many cousins.
She was preceded in death by her father, Robert Rausch; son, Tom Stefani; brother, Randy Rausch; maternal grandparents, Laura and Clarence Boytim; and paternal grandparents, Evelyn and Gene Rausch.
There will be no visitation. The family will hold services at a later date in California. Memorial contributions may be made to Stein Hospice, 1200 Sycamore Line, Sandusky, Ohio 44870.
