Jill Adcock, 55, of Sandusky, went to be with the Lord on Friday, November 1, 2019 at Fisher-Titus Medical Center, Norwalk.
She was born in Sandusky on July 25, 1964 to Ruby and Robert Adcock. She attended Sandusky High School and was a former employee of Cedar Point.
She was a member of New Hope C.O.G.I.C., under her pastor, Supt. Elder Latham Stowers. She enjoyed singing in her church choir and she was a member of the District Choir. She adored her children, who she called "my babies", and her grandchildren, her "granny babies / grand-kings". She loved music as well as singing karaoke and dancing. She most loved being with her family and friends.
Jill is survived by her children, Sheree A. Adcock, Brandon L. Adcock, Rae'Shun D. Adcock, and Unique M. Adcock, all of Sandusky; grandsons, Brandon L. Adcock, Jr. and Mekhi Z. Adcock, both of Sandusky; mother, Ruby M. Adcock; five brothers, Donald Stowers, Edward Adcock, Troy Adcock, and Isaiah Adcock, all of Sandusky, and Marvin Adcock, of Dayton; three sisters, Patrice Adcock and Tracy Adcock, both of Sandusky, and Lillian (Blanchard) Haney, of Washington; five aunts, Mattie (Henry) McGill, Patty Stowers, and Mattie Clark, all of Sandusky, and Essie Adcock and Pastor Barbara Deka, both of Dayton; six uncles, Supt. Elder Latham (Ermie) Stowers, Elder Timothy Stowers, and John Adcock, all of Sandusky, Calvin (Ovida) Adcock, Evester Adcock, and Roy Adcock, all of Norwalk; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and other relatives.
The family would like to acknowledge her special family and friends, including Vivian "Cookie" Clark, Darla Baker, Sylvie Spillman, and Alicia Miller.
Jill was preceded in death by her father, Robert Adcock; brother, Robert Adcock, Jr.; grandparents; and soulmate, Roger McKinzie.
Friends may call from 10 a.m. on Saturday, November 9, 2019 until funeral services begin at 12 p.m. in Ebenezer Baptist Church, 1215 Pierce St., Sandusky. Burial will take place in Oakland Cemetery.
