Susie T. Py, 75, residing in Milan, passed away Wednesday morning, November 27, 2019 at Fisher-Titus Medical Center following a brief illness.
Susie was born on October 17, 1944 in Sandusky, OH to the late Harold and Dorothy (Clegg) Traub.
Susie graduated from Sandusky High School in 1962 and received her bachelor's degree in education from Bowling Green State University. She was a pre-school and kindergarten teacher for over 20 years at St. Mary's and Margaretta schools. Susie was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church, the Sandusky Yacht Club and a Girl Scout leader for several years.
Susie is survived by her husband, John Py, whom she married on August 16, 1969 and just celebrated their 50th anniversary. She is also survived by her two daughters, Barbara (Jason) Remington of Novi, MI and Louise (Edmond) Hoty of Huron; grandchildren, Nathan, Dominic, Jackson and Allison and other loving relatives.
Friends may call on Sunday, December 1, 2019 from 1:00pm until the time of funeral services at 2:00pm at Groff Funeral Homes & Crematory, 1607 E. Perkins Ave., Sandusky. Rev. Ric Babcock will officiate. Burial will be held at a later date in Oakland Cemetery, Sandusky.
