Wanda A. (Harless) Dingus, 74, residing in Huron, passed away Tuesday morning, December 3, 2019 at home.
Wanda was born on August 16, 1945 in Charleston, WV to the late Curtis and Erinestine (Browning) Harless.
Wanda retired from Epic Technologies in Norwalk in 2007 after 23 years of service. Wanda had an avid love for cooking, watching cooking shows and writing recipes. No one ever left her house hungry. Her grandchildren were her life, and she loved making people smile and laugh, and loved spending time with her family and friends.
Wanda is survived by her husband of 29 years, Robert Dingus. She is also survived by her daughter, Evelyn Baker of Huron and Lori Hunt of Norwalk; son, Charles Hunt of Jeffersonville, KY; grandchildren, Amanda (Tyler) Coble, Christopher (Sarah Kemp) Baker, David Baker, Matthew Baker and Makayla Baker; brother, Roger (Donna) Harless of FL; three step-children, Danny (Terry) Dingus, Tim (Angie Rowe) Dingus and Rachel Christian; 17 step-grandchildren; cousins, Debi, Sandy, Emily and Ginger and numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
In addition to her parents, Wanda is preceded in death by her first husband, Charles Hunt Sr., in 1981; ssiters, Erma Jean Holstine and Sue Settlemier and step-son, David Dingus.
Private family services will be held at a later date. Groff Funeral Homes & Crematory is assisting the family with arrangements.
