Elizabeth “Betty” Cromer, 78, Sandusky, entered into eternal rest on November 21, 2011 in Firelands Regional Medical Center after a brief illness.
She was born on January 1, 1933 in Sandusky.
Betty leaves to cherish her memory her son, Jesse Lee (Vickie) Crawford, Greer, SC; daughter, Julia Marie Leland, Las Vegas, NV; 11 grandchildren, Jesse Lee Crawford, Thelma Crawford, Damion Crawford, Cassandra Crawford, Henry (Diane) Leland, Sonya Leland, Julmetrius (Tomeka) Lindsey, Austin Nicholson, Quinton McCoy, Marcia Corliss McCoy, and James McCoy; sister and caregiver, Mary Elaine Cromer, Sandusky; brother, Thomas Cromer, Jr., Sandusky; 20 great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Rosalee Pressley Cromer; father, Thomas Cromer, Sr.; and stepmother, Etrue Benson Cromer.
Friends may call on Monday, November 28, 2011 from 11 A.M. until time of services at 1 P.M. in Cornerstone Missionary Baptist Church, 2515 Columbus Ave., Sandusky. The Rev. Scottie Aaron will officiate. Burial will be in Oakland Cemetery.
