Benjamin J. "Big Ben" Davis, 39, of Sandusky, went to be with his Father unexpectedly on Friday morning, December 6, 2019 in Firelands Regional Medical Center.
He was born on January 16, 1980 in Sandusky and attended Sandusky High School.
He worked at different business in Sandusky. He was a very loving and caring, loved video games, the Pittsburgh Steelers - he was a true fan, and loved having fun with his family and friends.
Ben leaves to cherish his memory his children, Navon McCormick, of Huron, Samantha Gardner, of Columbus, OH, Collen, of Norwalk, and Koryion, Avony, and Taeyon Morgan, all of Sandusky; mother, Lorraine Davis; brothers, Bruce (Janice) Parker, Sr., of Alabama, and Tommie Parker, Sr. and Brett Rogers, Sr., both of Sandusky; aunts, JoAnne Parker and Fannie Morgan, both of Sandusky; uncles, Bobbie (Geneva) Parker and Robert (Fannie) Parker, both of Sandusky, and Kenneth (Barbara) Parker, of Columbus, OH; special sisters/cousins, Elaine Parker and La'Tondra Parker, both of Sandusky, Jazzmon Morgan Wright, of Maryland, and Sa'Quia (Raymond) Morgan-Hill, of Columbus, OH; special nephew, Tommie Parker, Jr.; special niece, LaTora Parker; special friend, Ivona Morgan; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and other relatives.
He was preceded in death by his father, Benny Harris; brothers, Morris Harris and Glenn Harris, Sr.; maternal grandmother, L. A. (Gowdy) Parker; maternal aunts, Georgia Mae Moore and Emma Mae Yarbough; maternal uncle, David L. Parker; best friend, Nick Kubitz; and paternal nephew, Marcus Bonner.
Friends may call from 3 p.m. on Sunday, December 15, 2019 until funeral services begin at 5 p.m. in the E. Parish Street Church of Christ, 1219 E. Parish St., Sandusky. Brother Jeff Sherman will officiate.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Ben's name to his family. Toft Funeral Home & Crematory, 2001 Columbus Ave., Sandusky, is handling arrangements.
