Manuel "Mike" Joseph Cambra, 88, residing in Norwalk, passed away peacefully Friday morning, January 10, 2020 at home.
Mike was born on October 7, 1931 in Boston, MA to the late William and Mary (Bealnias) Cambra.
Mike was a Veteran of the US Army and served during the Korean War. He enjoyed woodworking, landscaping, decorating for the holidays and dancing. He was skilled at doing home improvements and was a great story teller.
Mike is survived by his wife, Patricia (Ross) Cambra, whom he married on September 10, 2008. He is also survived by his children, Francis "Pat" (Cynthia) Cambra of Castalia, Scott Cambra of FL, Sandra (James) Coffman of Plymouth, OH, Margaret Schnell of Norwalk, Tomi (Chris) Mayer of TX, Richard (Donna) Schnell of Norwalk, William Schnell of Norwalk and Lee Eric (Debra) Schnell of Monroeville; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; brother, Ed (Virginia) Cambra of GA and numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
In addition to his parents, Mike is preceded in death by daughter, Mary Cambra; sister, Theresa and brothers, John and Francis "Pat".
Private family burial will take place in Milan Cemetery at a later date. Groff Funeral Homes & Crematory is assisting the family with arrangements.
