Vera Lynne (Willis) Ladrach, 74, residing in Norwalk, passed away Thursday afternoon, January 16, 2020 at her home following a lengthy illness.
Vera was born on May 19, 1945 in Akron, OH to the late Linden and Alyce (Lambert) Willis.
Vera received her associates degree in liberal arts from BGSU Firelands. She was a member of The Chapel. She enjoyed knitting, crafting and spending time with her family and friends, especially her grandchildren.
Vera is survived by her special friend, Virginia Higgins; children, Kat Ladrach, Ruthann Parker, Allison Ladrach, Elizabeth Ladrach and Matthew Ladrach; grandchildren, Sophia, Evangeline, Maura, Noah and Nadia; sister, Mary (Pat) Shoemaker and numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
In addition to her parents, Vera is preceded in death by her four brothers, Dennis, John, Robert and James Willis, and aunt, Audrey Rosin.
Friends may call on Monday, January 20, 2020 from 12:00 pm until the time of her memorial service at 1:00 pm at Groff Funeral Homes & Crematory, 1607 E Perkins Ave, Sandusky. Pastor David Brown of The Chapel will officiate.
