William H. Harrison, 80, Sandusky, died Thursday, January 16, 2020, at his residence.
He was born in Sandusky, OH on June 11, 1939, to the late Hubert W. and Helen N. (Gerold) Harrison, and graduated from St. Mary's High School.
William worked 38 years for Canalos Vending, Ries, Cardinal, Eagle, Tops, and AVI, as a vending machine mechanic. He also worked 10 years as a driver for Sandusky Electric.
He was a member of Zion Lutheran Church, Sandusky, enjoyed bowling, watching NASCAR and especially riding in the push Jeeps with his sons at Sandusky Speedway.
He is survived by his children, Tammy Harrison, Scott Harrison and Kevin Harrison all of Sandusky; sister, Sue Harrison, Sandusky; brother, Dick (Sharon) Harrison, Sandusky; many other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Phyllis L. (Walker) Harrison; and his parents.
Friends may call on Thursday, January 23, 2020, from 4-8 P.M. in Toft Funeral Home & Crematory, 2001 Columbus Ave., Sandusky. Funeral services will be held Friday at 11 A.M. in Zion Lutheran Church, 503 Columbus Ave., Sandusky. Rev. Dr. Eric Bodenstab will officiate. Burial will follow in Oakland Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made in William's name to Zion Lutheran Church or to Stein Hospice Service, 1200 Sycamore Line, Sandusky.
