Debi Ann (Kotz) Pribanic, 61, residing in Sandusky, passed away Thursday evening, January 23, 2020 at her home following a courageous battle with Lou Gehrig's disease (ALS).
Debi was born on November 6, 1958 in Sandusky, OH to Richard and Edris (Flowers) Kotz.
Debi graduated from Sandusky High School in 1977. She was the founder of Deja-Vous Limousine Service. A hard working union who never had less than two jobs, her work ethic was respected wherever she gained employment.
Debi was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church and the Sandusky Orchestra. She loved riding motorcycles and horses, dancing and spending time with friends.
She became one of the leading women in business in the community by always giving more to others than to herself. Her heart was a door that remained open. The love from her children and grandchildren brought her the most joy, as did helping the community.
Debi is survived by her parents, Richard and Edris; fiancé, John E. Lewis; daughters, Athena (Travis Smith) Pribanic of Milan and Jessica (Cody) Pribanic of NV; Joshua (Tara) Pribanic of Pittsburgh, PA; grandchildren, Triston, Jaida, Aedon and Ares; brother, Richard Kotz Jr. and numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
Debi is preceded in death by her former husband and father of her children, Jonathon "Jamie" Pribanic and sister, Deanna Kotz.
Friends may call on Tuesday, January 28, 2020 from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Groff Funeral Homes & Crematory, 1607 E Perkins Ave, Sandusky. Prayers will be recited in the funeral home on Wednesday, January 29, 2020 at 9:30 am followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 am at St. Mary's Catholic Church, 429 Central Ave., Sandusky. Father Monte Hoyles will officiate.
