Gregory Allan LeGron

Gregory Allan LeGron, 63, Castalia, passed away Monday, February 10, 2020, in Stein Hospice Care Center.

He was born on August 2, 1956 in Sandusky to the late Floyd and Ruth (Everett) LeGron, and graduated from Perkins High School in 1975.

He was owner and operator of LeGron Plumbing as a master plumber, doing work for Ray Schaefer Construction, and also was associated with Gilberts Heating and Plumbing.

Greg prided himself on being a perfectionist in his trade, always teaching others and giving advice on "The right way to do it". He enjoyed bonfires and spending time with family and friends. He called himself "The Party Starter", always getting people on the dance floor, and loved the challenge of solving five star Sudoku puzzles.

While quite an accomplished tradesman, Greg's greatest gift to this world is the rich legacy he leaves behind to his children and grandchildren.

He is survived by his wife of 20 years, Rita (Jenkins) LeGron; children, Linzi (Todd Stimpfle) LeGron, Bryan, OH, and Holly LeGron, Sandusky; step children, Ryan Jenkins and Tara Nickles, both of Sandusky; eleven grandchildren; brother, Jim (Cheryl) LeGron, Vermilion; several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and a brother, Paul LeGron.

Friends may call on Friday, February 14, 2020, from 2 P.M. until time of funeral services at 4 P.M. in Toft Funeral Home & Crematory, 2001 Columbus Ave., Sandusky. Chaplain Mel Sayler will officiate.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Greg's name may be made to the family or to Stein Hospice Service, 1200 Sycamore Line, Sandusky, OH 44870.
