Brad A. Madama, 54, residing in Sandusky, passed away Monday afternoon, February 10, 2020 at home.
Brad was born on June 18, 1965 in Sandusky, OH to Vincent C. Madama and Nelda (Wallace) Madama-Shelly.
Brad graduated from Sandusky High School in 1983 and was a Veteran of the US Army in the 101st Division, 326th Engineer Battalion Division. Upon his discharge from the Army, he worked at Armstrong in Bellevue, and then later became a truck driver. His joy in life came from being outdoors, he enjoyed, hiking, camping, canoeing and kayaking and sailing.
Brad is survived by his son, Thomas Holtzmiller of Oak Hill, OH; mother and step-father, Nelda Madama-Shelly and Rev. Edgar Shelly; sister, Susan Richardson of Sandusky; brothers, Vincent C. Madama of Rockford, IL and Greg W. Madama of Charelston, SC and several uncles, nieces and nephews.
Brad is preceded in death by his father, Vincent C. Madama on October 22, 2004; grandparents, Larry and Nellie Madama, and Charles W. and Marie E. Wallace and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
Private family services will be held at a later date. Groff Funeral Homes & Crematory is assisting the family with arrangements.
