Amanda Paige Drake Sapp, 29, of Sandusky, passed away Thursday, February 13, 2020, at Firelands Regional Medical Center.
Amanda was born on April 24, 1990, in Sandusky, Ohio, to James and Nancy (Fuhr) Drake.
Amanda graduated from Margaretta High School and EHOVE as a member of the class of 2008. While at Margaretta she was on the basketball and volleyball teams. She also participated in traveling volleyball leagues. While at EHOVE, she received national honors as a member of the Parliamentary Procedures Team and in the field of computer science.
In her spare time she enjoyed music, video games, and sports. She was a wonderful blessing as a daughter; and her beautiful smile and kindness will be missed beyond measure. Her greatest joy of all was her husband, Seth, and their children.
Amanda is survived by her husband, Seth Sapp, whom she married on April 19, 2019; parents, Nancy and Gregg Botbyl of Bayview; step-father, Mark Borsick of Bayview; children, James Barber, Audrey Barber, Seth Sapp II, Khloee Sapp, Rhylee-Ann Sapp and Coltyn Sapp.
Amanda is preceded in death by her father, James Drake; maternal grandparents, Carl and Glenna Fuhr; and her paternal grandparents, Lonnie and Jeanne Parker.
Private family services will be held at a later date. Groff Funeral Homes & Crematory is assisting the family with arrangements.
