Idona C. Rohrbacher-Hay, age 79 of Republic passed away Monday, December 5, 2011 at St. Vincent’s Medical Center, Toledo. She was born Jan. 27, 1932 in Bellevue the daughter of the late Willard Leroy & Dorothy Rachel (Stout) Fry.
Idona was a homemaker. She was a 1950 graduate of York High School and enjoyed gardening and helping on the farm. She especially enjoyed her family and working with homeopathic remedies.
Survivors include her children, Calvin Robert Rohrbacher, II of Republic
Brenda Jeannette (Patrick) Grieve of Tiffin, Kathleen Nancy (Mark) Kesler of Tiffin, Mark Alan (Debra) Rohrbacher of Republic, daughter – in – law Robin (Dave) Henderson of Gibsonburg, 3 step-sons, 3 step-daughters, 8 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren, brothers, Arthur Fry of Bellevue, Robert Fry of Clyde, Herbert Fry of Cincinnati, and her brother-in-law, Norman (Penny) Brooks of Sandusky. In addition to her parents her son Kenneth, 1st husband, Calvin Robert Rohrbacher, I, 2nd husband Alva “Alvie” Hay, granddaughter, Gwendolyn Marie Kesler, sister, Bonnie Brooks and brothers, Ralph Fry and Richard Fry preceded her in death.
Friends will be received on Wednesday, Dec. 7, 2011 from 2:00 pm until service time at 6:00 pm at Foos and Foos Funeral Service, 151 Yorkshire Place, Bellevue. Burial will take place at Castalia Cemetery at a later date.
