Roger Theodore Prophet, 54, Columbus, OH, departed from this life on Thursday, April 2, 2020.
He was born on April 25, 1965 in Sandusky to the late Lawrence and Gladys (Alexander) Prophet Sr., and was a 1984 graduate of Sandusky High School.
Roger was a great salesman and was the owner-operator of ProSeal Blacktop.
Roger is described by his children as a loving father who provided a firm foundation, a true friend, hard working and provided a positive influence in their life. He always wanted the best for his children.
He leaves to cherish his memory, son, Nicholas Harvey; daughters, Sheacole Prophet, Sandusky and Alyssa Prophet, Winder, GA; special friend, Patrick Gant, Columbus, OH; siblings, David Prophet, Charlotte, NC, Tommy Prophet, Louisville, KY, Linda (Jessie) Haynes, Canton, OH, Karen Simagan, Winder, GA, James Prophet, Chris (Donna) Prophet, Brian (Annette) Prophet, and Peter Prophet all of Columbus, OH, Rebecca Choate, Denver, CO, Kenneth Prophet, Atlanta, GA, and Derrick (Dionne) Prophet, Fort Mill, SC; thirteen grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
He was preceded in death by his son, Jacoby Prophet; parents; brothers, Lawrence Prophet Jr. and Steven Prophet; and a sister, Rachonn (Prophet) McClendon.
Private family services will be held. Pastor Clayton Howard will officiate.
