Jerod McGill-Chaney, 38, Sandusky, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday April 22, 2020, at his residence.
Jerod was born August 8, 1981, in Sandusky, to the union of Diane McGill Chaney and the late Joe Chaney.
He attended and graduated from Sandusky High School in 2002. He was employed at Ability Works where he worked for 20 years.
Jerod loved to play with his matchbox cars, play cards and spend time with his family. At those family gatherings after a while his favorite saying was "I'm ready to go Home"
He leaves to forever cherish his memory, his loving mother, Diane McGill-Chaney; brothers; Lamar Chaney, Sandusky and Michael Chaney of Decatur, IL; sisters, Kim Taylor, JoAnn Chaney and Kataris Chaney all of Sandusky, Latrice (Cupp) Chaney and Angie Chaney both of Decatur, IL; He also leaves to forever remember him a host of aunts, uncles, relatives , and friends.
He was preceded in death by his father Joe Chaney, and maternal and paternal grandparents.
Private family services will be held in Toft Funeral Home & Crematory, 2001 Columbus Ave., Sandusky. Rev. Joseph Strong will officiate. Burial will follow in Meadow Green Memorial Park, Huron.
