Donna J. Mason, 59, residing in Norwalk, passed away early Tuesday morning, April 28, 2020 at Stein Hospice Care Center following a brief illness.
Donna was born on May 10, 1960 in Sandusky, OH to the late Kenneth and Elsie (Knallay) Mason.
Donna graduated from Edison High School in 1978. She was employed as a nurse's aide for both the former Huron Health Care and Stein Hospice. She enjoyed puzzles, flowers, nature and taking care of her plants, but her greatest joy was being a mother and grandmother. Donna was a giver and always extending herself to others.
Donna is survived by her fiancé, Dave Johnston of Norwalk; two daughters, Michelle Taylor and Cindy Johnston both of Norwalk; two sons, Jason (Amy Randles) Taylor and Shaun (Shawna) Taylor both of Norwalk; 11 grandchildren; two sisters, Gloria (Bill) Pooch of Castalia and Cindy (Rob) Re of Hattiesburgh, MS; brother, Mark (Karen) Mason of Cincinnati and numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
In addition to her parents, Donna is preceded in death by her nephew, Matthew Pooch.
A visitation and celebration of life will held and announced at a later date. Donna's brother, Pastor Mark Mason will officiate. Groff Funeral Homes & Crematory Milan Chapel is assisting the family with arrangements.
