Jean Ann Warner, Sandusky, passed away peacefully on Thursday, May 21, 2020, in the Stein Hospice Care Center, after a courageous 18 month battle with cancer, with her best friend, Michelle Gasteier, by her side.
She was born on January 14, 1955 in Sandusky and was a 1973 graduate of Sandusky High School. Jean loved collecting Precious Moments, having over 500 of them.
She is survived by a son, Paul Gabel,Sandusky; sisters, Kay Lunn, EL Paso, TX and Dawn Strickler, Sandusky; niece, Kristen Lunn Narvarro, and nephew, Brian Lunn, many cousins; and her companions, her dogs, Blackie and Shadow.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Lois (Bretz) Simpson; father, Don Warner; sister, Donna; and her grandparents.
Jean Ann donated her body to science. Toft Funeral Home & Crematory, 2001 Columbus Ave., Sandusky is handling the arrangements.
