Martha Louise (Morell) Roesch, 90, of Sandusky, passed away on Friday, May 29, 2020 in Parkvue Healthcare.
She was born on January 5, 1930 in McArthur, Ohio to the late Clarence and Mary (Quick) Morell.
She was a licensed cosmetologist for more than 50 years, owning Martha's Beauty Shop in her home on Campbell St.
She was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church in Sandusky. She loved gardening, and took special care of her roses. She loved animals, especially her cats and the wildlife outside her door. She was an avid baker and taught her grandchildren how to bake from scratch! Martha loved her beauty shop clients and her family, to no end.
Martha is survived by her children, Sheila Wittmer, of Manistee, Michigan, Ronald (Rita Joyce) Roesch and Daniel Roesch, both of Sandusky; and Loriann (Robert) Wagner, of Norwalk; grandchildren, Jason (Melissa) Wittmer, Kimberly (Todd) Abbey, Tim (Shannon) Knopp, Tom (Maria) Knopp, Ryan Wagner, Brandon Kraft, and Derek Kraft; seven great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Roesch; brothers, Junior (in childhood), Robert Dale Morell, and Fred Morell; and son-in-law, Eugene Wittmer.
Due to current restrictions, private family services will be held in Toft Funeral Home & Crematory, 2001 Columbus Ave., Sandusky, with Chaplain Mel Sayler officiating. Burial will take place in Meadow Green Memorial Park, Huron. Memorial contributions may be sent in Martha's name to the Humane Society of Erie County, 1911 Superior St., Sandusky.
