Tishey (Jones) Fraley, 78, residing in Norwalk, passed away Sunday afternoon, May 31, 2020 at University Hospitals of Cleveland.
Tish was born on April 9, 1942 in Sandusky, OH to the late Calloway and Clara (Kelley) Jones.
Tish graduated from Sandusky High School in 1960. She retired from the Erie County Recorder's Office as the Erie County Recorder after 30 years of service. Tish was a member of the Sandusky Church of God and the Democratic Women Party.
Tish was a loving, sweet, kind-hearted person who warmly touched everyone she met. She had many hobbies including sewing, quilting, knitting, crocheting, playing the keyboard and Hawaiian guitar and graciously taught anyone who wanted to learn. We are so thankful to have had such a wonderful mother, grandmother and great-grandmother who taught us so much and was such a wonderful person and role model for us.
Tish is survived by her husband, Alvis "Jerry" Fraley, whom she married on April 3, 1999. She is also survived by her daughters, Cindy (Mike) Galant of Amherst, Amy Brady of Sandusky, Dawn Ritzenthaler of Medina and Lori (Dave) Shupe of Berlin Heights; step-daughter, Tamara (Rich) Steinberger of Clyde and Lisa Leibacher of Sandusky; son, George (Jade) Ritzenthaler of Huron; 13 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; brother, Terry Jones of Morristown, TN and numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
In addition to her parents, Tish is preceded in death by her brother, Calloway Jones.
Private family services will be held at Sandusky Church of God, 1018 W. Bogart Rd., Sandusky. Pastors Samuel and Harvey Studer will officiate services. Entombment will follow in Meadow Green Memorial Park, Huron. Groff Funeral Homes & Crematory is assisting the family with arrangements.
