Pearl K. (Hartwig) Pascoe, 83, residing in Sandusky, passed away Sunday afternoon, July 5, 2020 at Firelands Regional Medical Center.
Pearl was born on July 6, 1936 in Sandusky, OH to the late Dewey and Mabel (Lehr) Hartwig.
Pearl graduated from Sandusky High School in 1954 and was a LPN at the former Providence Hospital for 17 years. She was a former member of the First Baptist Church, where she had roles of a deacon, the treasurer and Sunday school superintendent. Pearl also was a member of the Sandusky Yacht Club and Plum Brook Country Club. In her spare time, she enjoyed traveling, visiting over 85 countries and spending time with her family.
Pearl is survived by her husband, Charles M. Pascoe, whom she married on November 20, 1992. She is also survived by her son, Dr. Dewey (Pamela Bowers) Scheid of OK; three grandchildren, Kyler, Mira, and Ezra and numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
In addition to her parents, Pearl is preceded in death by her son, Adam Scheid; sister, Marion Mitchell and brother, David Hartwig.
A private family graveside service will be held in Oakland Cemetery, Sandusky. Pastor Wally Gilbert will officiate. Groff Funeral Homes & Crematory is assisting the family with their arrangements.
