Donald Kevin "Crip" Smith, 63, Sandusky, passed away Tuesday, July 21, 2020, in the Providence Care Center.
He was born on June 28, 1957 in Sandusky, and was a Perkins High School graduate.
Donald was a U.S. Army veteran, who loved serving his country.
He loved playing his guitar, listening to music, telling jokes, his cat Elvis, and family gatherings.
He is survived by his wife, Shirley Smith, to whom he married January 19, 2001; father and step mother, Don and Helen Smith, Sandusky; children, Katie Smith and Clayton Smith both of Destin, FL; step daughters, Monica (Russell) Shupp, Sandusky and Michele (Joe) Myers, Norwalk; brothers, Jeff Smith and Chris Smith; step sisters, Sandy Timm and Cathy Timm Ballas; and step brother, Thomas Timm.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Thereza (Stoneburner) Smith in June of 1969.
Friends may call on Tuesday, July 28, 2020, from 5 P.M. until time of funeral services at 6 P.M. in Toft Funeral Home & Crematory, 2001 Columbus Ave., Sandusky. The American Legion Post 83 Color Guard will conduct the military tribute.
