Lois M. (Brindley) Finley

Lois M. (Brindley) Finley, 93, residing in Sandusky, passed away Thursday morning, July 23, 2020 at Parkvue Health Care Center following a brief illness.

Lois was born on July 24, 1926 in Sandusky, OH to the late Donald and Georgia (Jesberger) Brindley.

Lois graduated from Sandusky High School in 1944. She was employed as a lunch lady at St. Mary's School. Lois was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church, where she served on the bereavement team. She was an avid card player and loved being a social butterfly, being involved with everyone. Her greatest joy was spending time with her family.

Lois is survived by her two daughters, Kathy (Gary) Butler and Anita Mickens both of Sandusky; grandchildren, Brian Mickens and Ethan Finley; great-grandson, Trent Mickens; daughter-in-law, Karen Finley of Olmsted Falls, OH and numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives.

In addition to her parents, Lois is preceded in death by husband, Robert "Bob" Finley; son, Steven Finley; brother, Donald Brindley; great aunt, Clara "Butchie" Glaze and uncle, Jack Glaze.

Friends may call on Sunday, July 26, 2020 from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm at Groff Funeral Homes & Crematory, 1607 E Perkins Ave, Sandusky. Funeral services will be held in the funeral home on Monday morning, July 27, 2020 at 11:00 am. Deacon Jeff Claar will officiate. Burial will follow in Meadow Green Memorial Park, Huron. Masks will be required to enter the building.
