Aline Josephine Love, age 91 residing in Sandusky died late Tuesday evening in the Stein Hospice Care Center following a lengthy illness.
She was born on January 23, 1920 in Sandusky to the late Nickolas and Anna Rose (Corso) Girardi.
Aline was a 1938 graduate of Sandusky High School and was employed with James A. Bertsch Jewelers for many years.
Aline was a member of Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, a former member of the Alter and Rosary Society and the I A B Club, she was also a member of the Sandusky Amvets Post #29, and she also enjoyed traveling and spending time with her family and friends.
She is survived by one son Robert E. and (Charlene) James of Sagamore Hills, Ohio three grandsons Bobby (Mary) James, Scott (Cheryl) James and Chris James, four great grandchildren Samuel, Meredith, Rocco and Louis, her sister in law Evaden Dee and numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives.
Including her parents Aline is preceded in death by her husband Dr. Duane Love in 1981, one son Richard A. James in 2001, three sister Mary Manuel, Marcella Dee and Virginia Denslow and three brothers John Dee, August Dee and Anthony Girardi.
Friends may call on Friday, December 23, 2011 from 10 AM till time of Mass of Christian Burial at 11 AM in Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church 510 Columbus Ave., Sandusky. The Rev. Marty Nassr will officiate. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery. The Groff Funeral Home and Crematory in Sandusky are assisting the family with arrangements.
