Blondena "Blondie" (Boles) Mineo, 94, residing in Sandusky, passed away peacefully at her daughter, Sue's home on Thursday, July 30, 2020 following a brief illness.
Blondie was born on April 2, 1926 in Anderson, AL to the late Willie Boles and Idella (Hendricks) Lee. She spent her time being raised between Alabama and Florida, before moving to Sandusky her senior year of high school, where she later met and married her husband, Benjamin. She spent many years, shopping, playing cards, drinking coffee, hanging out with her best friend, May Brown and spending time with her family and friends.
Blondie is survived by her daughters, Pat McDavitt and Sue (Terry) Camp; grandchildren, Nikki and Kristi McDavitt and Terry (Lisa Dauch) Jr., Brian (Jami) and Brandon (Gina) Camp; great-grandchildren, Ally Tomas, Kennedy, Kendall, Aubree, Gracee and Shiloh Camp, Tori Thompson, Makaylee McDavitt and Darren LeMaster; great-great grandchildren, Victor and Callie.
In addition to her parents, Blondie is preceded in death by her husband, Benjamin in 2004; granddaughter, Melissa LeMaster in 2016; sister, Vertie Davis and brother, Cellus Boles.
Private family services will be held at Meadow Green Memorial Park, Huron. Groff Funeral Homes & Crematory is assisting the family with their arrangements.
