Linda L. (Lewis) James, 73, of Castalia, passed away on Wednesday, August 12, 2020 in the Cleveland Clinic after a brief illness.
She was born on April 2, 1947 in Sandusky to the late James W. Lewis and Bette J. (Werner) Lewis. A graduate of Sandusky High, Linda worked for Sandusky Dressed Beef for 25 years and was MLS Administrator for the Firelands Association of Realtors for eight years.
She loved to garden, taking meticulous care of her flowers. She also loved jigsaw puzzles. Most precious, however, to Linda was her family, especially her little "Daya."
Linda is survived by her husband Thomas James, whom she married on July 15, 1967; son, Terry (Rebecca) James, of Arizona; grandchildren, Tiera, Taylr, and Tate James, all of Sandusky, and Justin (Cristina) and Brandon (Chyna) Fields, of Arizona; great-grandchildren, Zendaya and Harper; siblings, Sandra (Don) Streiffert, of Surfside Beach, SC, Ron (Connie) Lewis, of Estero, FL, and Terry (Linda) Lewis and Shari (Ray) Lamarca, both of Sandusky.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her great-grandson, Cayden James, in infancy.
Per Linda's wishes, cremation will take place. A celebration of her life will take place at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in her name to Susan G. Komen, 13770 Noel Rd., Suite 801889, Dallas, TX 75380.
