Timothy "Tim" Dale Allison, 70, residing in Sandusky, passed away Wednesday morning, August 26, 2020 at Stein Hospice Care Center.
Tim was born on August 13, 1950 in Sandusky, OH to the late William Robert and Ruth (Davis) Allison.
Tim graduated from Perkins High School in 1968. He retired from General Motors after 32 years of service. He was a skilled businessman, with a great work ethic, and co-owned both the Universal Fruit & Nut Co., an antique shop and the Keg 2 Lounge. While he was a hard worker, he enjoyed in his spare time, music, dancing, and spending time with his friends and family. Tim had a kind and giving spirit and would help anyone in need.
Tim is survived by his best friend of 48 years, and partner of 14 years, Michael Sellers of Sandusky; brother, Michael Allison of Sandusky; nieces, Michelle (Rick), Marcie (Brandon), Riley and Andrea (Brandon); his nephews, Todd (Barbie), Derek (Kristin), Michael Jr., William Robert III, John and Brian and many great nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, Tim is preceded in death by his brothers, William Robert Jr., and Charles Allison.
Private family services will be held at Groff Funeral Homes & Crematory, 1607 E Perkins Ave, Sandusky. Chaplain Mel Sayler will officiate services. Burial will be held in Meadow Green Memorial Park, Huron.
