Lillie Ruth (McGill) Neadham 72, Sandusky, peacefully transitioned to eternal rest on Monday, September 7, 2020 at Stein Hospice Center, Sandusky.
She was born December 23, 1947 to the late Lewis and Wilma McGill in Laurel, Mississippi.
Lillie received her high school diploma from Shirley Owens High School in Quitman, Mississippi.
She was employed at Van Dresser in Norwalk, Ohio and Sandusky City School where she was devoted to 20 plus years of service and retired in 2013.
In her spare time, she loved bowling, planting, cooking, and doing crossword puzzle books. Her most joyous moments were spending time with her family and vacationing in Mississippi.
Lillie had a warm, infectious smile and everyone knows she loved her peppermints.
Lillie loved the Lord and was a faithful member of the Providence Missionary Baptist Church under the current leadership of Pastor Joseph M.A. Strong. She served the church as an Usher and the Assistant Secretary of the Usher Ministry.
Lillie leaves to forever cherish her memories, her devoted husband, Raymond Neadham, married October 1970; her only son, Billie "Peter" (Cherice) Neadham, Lorain, OH; grandchildren, Gabrielle "Gabby" Neadham, Memphis, TN, Dovontae Gholson, Lorain, OH, and Tylan Neadham, Liberty University in Virginia; one great-grandson, Damarion Gholson, Lorain, OH; sisters, Doris "Dot" Robinson, Geraldine McGill, Shirley McGill, and Dianne Chaney all of Sandusky, OH; brothers, Henry (Mattie) McGill, Louis "LB" McGill both of Sandusky, Walter Pierce, New, MS, and Danny McGill, Vossburg, MS; special nieces, Sharon "Tut" McGill, Sandusky and Crystal McGill, Columbus, OH; special great niece, Taquila "TT" McGill, Sandusky; special great nephew, Zy'Air "Zy" Charles; special friends, Helen Jones, Shella Ruth Robinson and Rebecca Pace; and a host of other family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Joseph "Merk" McGill; and sister, Peggy Sue McGill.
Friends may call on Tuesday, September 15, 2020, from 10 A.M. until time of funeral services at 12 P.M. Noon in Providence Missionary Baptist Church, 224 Dixie Ave., Sandusky. Burial will follow in Perkins Cemetery.
