Ernest Ray Johnson, 67, Sandusky, died Wednesday, September 2, 2020, in Admiral's Pointe, Huron.
He was born on September 8, 1952 in Pineville, W.VA, to the late William Lester and Norma June (Willis) Johnson.
Ernest was a U.S. Marine veteran.
He was a member of the Amvets Post 17, loved hanging out with his morning crew. Ernest enjoyed the outdoors, fishing, and going on vacations.
He is survived by his daughter, Sara (Sean) Djubek, Columbus, OH; sisters, Debra Johnson, Sandusky, and Linda Rowell, Hollyridge, NC; brother, Lloyd "Al" Johnson, Sandusky; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; sisters, Juanetta Johnson and Nina Stein; brothers, Thomas, Willard, and Roy Johnson.
A private graveside service will be held in Oakland Cemetery, Sandusky. Memorial contributions in Ernest name may be made to the Amvets Post 17, 307 Putnam St., Sandusky, OH 44870.
