Paula K. (Hutchinson) Griggs, 62, of Sandusky, passed away unexpectedly in her home on Sunday, September 20, 2020, after years of failing health.
She was born in Sandusky on June 10, 1958 to the late Charles and Mary (Fuller) Hutchinson.
Paula was a vibrant, fun, friendly, and outgoing person who would easily be described as the life of the party!
She loved to host and entertain, welcoming everyone with a warm, loving, and open heart. She enjoyed watching the Cleveland Browns with her friends, playing games, music, and dancing. She was a good cook and cherished the time she spent with her grandchildren.
Paula is survived by her daughter, Sarah J. (Tim) Smith, of Amherst; grandchildren, Aniya and Sebastian Smith, both at home; and siblings, John and Frank Hutchinson, Nancy Judge, and Linda Gull.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her son, Charles J. Young.
A memorial service celebrating Paula's life will be held at 6 p.m. (with visiting from 4-6 p.m.) on Friday, October 2, 2020 at Toft Funeral Home & Crematory, 2001 Columbus Ave., Sandusky.
