Keith R. Burris, 60, of Norwalk passed away unexpectedly Thursday, September 24, 2020 at his residence.
He was born May 5, 1960 in Sandusky and was a 1978 graduate of Monroeville High School.
Keith was a chef and had a true passion for cooking. He loved listening to music and enjoying his friends sitting around a bonfire.
He is survived by one daughter, Ryan (Timothy) Montgomery of Bellevue; three grandchildren, Timothy and Caleb Montgomery and Taylor Pelton; one great granddaughter, Mckayla Pelton; mother, Barbara Smith of Monroeville; three sisters, Cheryl Downs of Monroeville, Rose Ferrell of Collins, and Donna (Ed) Kay of Monroeville; one brother, Duane Burris of Huron; nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Judy Burris; two fathers, Gilbert Burris, Sr. and Donald Smith, Sr.; two brothers, Gilbert Burris, Jr. and Donald Smith, Jr.; and one sister, Gloria Roberts.
Friends may call from 1:00 pm until time of funeral service at 3:30 pm, Sunday, September 27, 2020 in the Pfeil Funeral Home, Monroeville Chapel, 109 Monroe Street, Monroeville. The Rev. Dr. Amy Little will officiate. At the request of the deceased, cremation will follow.
