Laura (Toni) Antionette Gouch, 50, of Sandusky, passed away peacefully at Firelands Regional Medical Center during the evening of September 22nd, 2020.
Laura was a 1988 graduate of Sandusky High School Graduate. She was an active cheerleader, gymnast and friend to everyone. She enjoyed being with family, helping others, and making delicious desserts later in life.
She was the loving mother of 3 amazing children, Lexi Meyers, Thomas Risner and Jeremy Risner. She loved and cherished her children and embraced every moment with them. She especially loved her role as a Grandma to Mason and Dawson and she spent each and every moment she could with them. They cherished every moment they spent with her.
Laura was a beloved mother, daughter, sister, aunt, grandmother, and wife. She knew no strangers and made friends wherever she went.
Those left to cherish the beautiful memories include, husband, Jarrett Gouch of Berlin Heights, OH; mother, Nancy Butcher Caponi of Sandusky, OH; daughter, Lexi (Terry) Meyers of Norwalk, OH; sons, Thomas Risner and Jeremy Risner both of Norwalk, OH; 2 grandchildren, Mason and Dawson Braden of Norwalk, OH; 1 brother, Jason (Angela) Caponi of Castalia, OH; 1 sister, Duffie Dawn Mazzeo Of Winston-Salem, NC; 2 nephews, Jacob Caponi of Ann Arbor, MI and Vito Rogers of Winston-Salem, NC; 2 nieces, Jayla Caponi of Castalia, OH and Elyssa Rogers of Winston-Salem, NC; aunts, Betty, Cora and Suzi; cousins, Ross Grimm and Haley Gorby and numerous others.
She is preceded in death by her father, Herman (Duffy) Mazzeo, and her grandparents, Laura and Walter Butcher in which she was close to all.
Friends may call on Tuesday, September 29, 2020 from 10:00 am until the time of funeral services at 12:00 pm at Groff Funeral Homes & Crematory, 1607 E. Perkins Ave., Sandusky. Pastor Wally Gilbert will officiate.
