John Ray Corbin, 68, residing in Huron, took his final ride on Thursday, September 24, 2020.
John was born on July 22, 1952 in Sandusky, OH to the late Raymond L. and Grace B. (Kemmery) Corbin.
John graduated from Sandusky High School in 1970. He retired from General Motors in 2006 after 28 years of service. He enjoyed riding his Harley Davidson, woodworking, painting motorcycles, classic cars, and spending time with his family and friends, enjoying life.
John is survived by his wife, Susan K. (Jenkins) Corbin, whom he married on March 6, 2007. He is also survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Jennifer and Christopher Thayer; grandson, Corbin Thayer; brother, Joseph E. (Patricia) Corbin; in-laws, Thomas and Jan (Heminger) Jenkins; sisters-in-law, Sarah (Daniel) Strayer and Sally (Robert) Hershey; nieces, Kyra Jo, Jordan, Addison and Tarah; nephews, Zachary (Madison) Sowers, Tyler and Trent; great niece, Jazelle Koch and many, many friends.
Friends may call on Saturday, October 3, 2020 from 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm at Groff Funeral Homes & Crematory, 1607 E Perkins Ave, Sandusky. A Celebration of Life will be held at a future date.
