Phyllis M. Hime, 96, of Huron Township passed away October 1, 2020 in the Firelands Regional Medical Center, Sandusky.
She was born August 5, 1924 in Tiffin, Ohio the daughter of George and Hazel (Yeager) Werner.
She was a 1942 graduate of Bellevue High School. She retired from the former Ford Motor Company in Sandusky as an Executive Secretary after twenty-five years of service.
She was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church, United Methodist Women and Past Matron of Eleanor Chapter #331 OES, Past President of Ford Motor Girl's Club Sandusky Plant, and served the AARP in Florida as an Asst. State Director.
She enjoyed knitting, crafts, spending time with family and friends, and was an avid reader.
She is survived by her son, David (Janet) Hime of Huron; much loved granddaughters, MeriKim Hime and Kristen (David) Landals both of Chicago; and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her husband Glenn on May 15, 2017, parents, many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
A celebration of life and burial in the Bellevue City Cemetery will take place at a later date.
Memorial contributions may be made to the donor's favorite charity.
