Patrick J. Kennelly, IV, 53, of Sandusky, passed away unexpectedly of natural causes in his home on Monday, October 12, 2020.
He was born in Sandusky on February 1, 1967 to Patrick Kennelly, III and Louise (Geringer) Kennelly Wasily.
He earned an Associate's Degree from Ashland University and most recently worked for Denny's Home Improvements as a general laborer.
Growing up, Patrick and his family spent time by the water. He grew up swimming, water skiing, and enjoying life on the north coast. Recently, he had many conversations with family and friends about his love for and belief in Jesus. He was a true believer.
At work, he gave his job his all. He was an excellent craftsman, working tirelessly to get the job done right the first time.
To everyone he knew it was his kindness that stood out. In subtle little ways Patrick let you know that he cared. He was always looking to lift someone's spirits.
Patrick is survived by his mother, Louise Wasily; sister, Shannon Kennelly; nephew, Dominic Russo; brothers, Denny Hinkle, Eddie Clark, and Randy Miller; and numerous other loving family members.
He was preceded in death by his father, Patrick, III; and step-father, Frank "Doc" Wasily.
Private viewing and services will take place for Patrick's family. Toft Funeral Home & Crematory, 2001 Columbus Ave., Sandusky, is handling arrangements.
