Roger Aloysius Braun, 94, residing in Sandusky, passed away early Thursday morning, October 22, 2020 at Providence Care Center.
Roger was born on April 15, 1926 in Sandusky, OH to the late John and Elizabeth (Adams) Braun.
Roger worked at Sandusky Plastics for over 10 years. He was a Veteran of the US Navy. Roger was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church. In his spare time, he enjoyed taking trips to the Amish country, visiting the docks in downtown Sandusky to watch freighters and boats and enjoyed spending time with his family.
Roger is survived by his wife of 74 years, Esther (Blume) Braun, whom he married on September 21, 1946 and brother-in-law, Leon Blume of Shelby Township, MI.
In addition to his parents, Roger is preceded in death by his sisters, Evelyn, Clara and Dolores and brother, Lamont.
A funeral service will be held Monday, October 26, 2020 at 12:00 pm at Groff Funeral Homes and Crematory, 1607 E Perkins Ave, Sandusky. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery, Sandusky.
