Bernard J. Kinney, 83, residing in Sandusky, passed away Sunday, October 18, 2020 at Providence Care Center following a brief illness.
Bernard was born on November 25, 1936 in Fostoria, OH to the late Steven and Mary (Kromie) Kinney.
Bernard retired from the Sandusky Ford Motor Company in 1995 after 35 years of service. He was a member of the Sandhill Freewill Baptist Church. He enjoyed fishing, visiting friends and family and spending time with them.
Bernard is survived by his son, David J. Kinney of Castalia and numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
In addition to his parents, Bernard is preceded in death by his wife, Betty K. (Fitch) Kinney on March 22, 2020; son, Timothy Kinney in 1985 and two brothers, Gene and Dean Kinney.
Friends may call on Wednesday, October 21, 2020 from 12:00 pm until the time of funeral services at 1:00 pm at Sandhill Freewill Baptist Church, 7703 Mason Rd, Sandusky. Pastor Garry Sorrell will officiate. Burial will follow in Sand Hill Cemetery, Castalia.
