Donna Ruth Rupp, 57, of Sandusky, passed away on Tuesday morning, November 10, 2020 at the Meadows at Osborn Park after her battle with Alzheimer's.
She was born in Sandusky on March 10, 1963 and was a 1981 graduate of Perkins High School, where she participated in band.
She worked for Huntley Uniform, which transitioned into Cintas. Donna was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church. She was an avid reader. She loved interacting with children while running games at local festivals with longtime companion, David Faggionato. She was also an assistant coach for girls softball with David. She loved her nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and great-nephews very much, and enjoyed spending time with them.
Donna is survived by her mother, June (Roll) Rupp; siblings, Nancy (Barry) Glass, James B. (Margaret Dolan) Rupp, Jr., Charles (Panna) Rupp, Steven Rupp, and Brian (Missy) Rupp; nieces and nephews, Nathan, Ryan, Alan, Bradley, Collin, Chelsea, Tristan, and Alexandria; and seven great-nieces and great-nephews.
She was preceded in death by her father, James B. Rupp, Sr., in 2008.
Private burial services will take place at Calvary Cemetery, Sandusky. Deacon Phil Dinovo will officiate. There will be a Celebration of Donna's life announced at a later date.
Memorial contributions may be made in Donna's name to the Alzheimer's Association or the Humane Society of Erie County. The family would like to thank the staff at the Meadows at Osborn Park and Heartland Hospice for the loving care that Donna received.
