John J. Nedham Sr., 77, residing in Sandusky, passed away unexpectedly Thursday morning, November 5, 2020 at his home.
John was born on May 23, 1943 in Meridian, MS to the late John Thomas and Susie May (Jenkins) Nedham.
John retired from General Motors. He was a member of Father's Heart Church. John was a professional weight lifter, and owned "Little John's Gym." He loved to dance, his grandkids, and his best friends, Nate Matthews and Dennis Rollison.
John is survived by his 6 daughters, JoAnna Clinton, Mabel Nedham, Rashina Brown, Angel Price, Angela McCovery-Webb and Rena Brown; 3 sons, Michael Amolsch, John Nedham Jr. and Kevin Yost; 13 grandchildren; beloved sister, Mary Amolsch; brother, Raymond "Uncle Bill" Nedham and numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
In addition to his parents, John is preceded in death by his wife, Mabel J. (Amolsch) Nedham on April 14, 2014.
Friends may call on Monday, November 16, 2020 from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm at Groff Funeral Homes & Crematory, 1607 E Perkins Ave, Sandusky. Burial will be held at a later date in Oakland Cemetery, Sandusky.
