Diana Sue (Fitzthum) Knoll, 68, residing in Sandusky, passed away suddenly Sunday evening, November 15, 2020.
Diana was born on March 18, 1952 in Sandusky, OH to John and Peggy (Perry) Fitzthum.
Diana graduated from St. Mary's High School in 1970 and received her associate's degree from the Ohio Business College. She was a secretary at the Sandusky VFW and Sandusky Eagles. Diana was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church. In her spare time, she enjoyed quilting, sewing and watching her favorite tv shows.
Diana is survived by her son, Jason Strickler of Huron; grandson, Dillon Strickler; mother, Peggy; sisters, Anna Durrett and Beverly (Herman) DiClaudio both of Sandusky; brothers, Terry Fitzthum and David (Deirdre) Fitzthum both of Sandusky and numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
In addition to her father, Diana is preceded in death by her husband, Ronald Knoll on October 28, 2020 and daughter-in-law, Kristine Burnell in 2014.
A memorial service will be held at a later date. Groff Funeral Homes & Crematory is assisting the family with arrangements.
