Betty Lou Koehler, 89, Sandusky, died Saturday, December 12, 2020, in Firelands Regional Medical Center.
She was born on July 27, 1931 in Oak Hill, OH to the late Hiram and Marie (Clark) Kuhn. She moved to Sandusky in 1950 and married Leo V. Koehler in 1955.
Betty was employed by Philco, Union Chain, Holmes Restaurant, G & C Foundry, Barr Rubber, Holiday Inn, Brown Derby, and retired from the May Co.
She was a member of Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, cooking club, enjoyed playing piano, bingo, and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.
She is survived by her sons, Leo D. of Toledo, Patrick and Timothy both of Sandusky; fourteen grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Leo V. Koehler; parents; daughters, JoAnne Koehler and Pamela Li; sisters, Hilda Naffine, Almeda Carter, Lucy Rodisel, Doris Crabtree, and Ethel May; brothers, George Kuhn, Harvey Kuhn, and Raymond Kuhn, also six siblings in infancy.
Friends may call on Thursday, December 17, 2020, from 10:30 A.M. until time of funeral services at 11:30 A.M. in Toft Funeral Home & Crematory, 2001 Columbus Ave., Sandusky. Deacon Phil Dinovo will officiate. Burial will be in Meadow Green Memorial Park, Huron.
